Crochet shawl pattern: walking on clouds.
To walk on clouds. I often dream about being able to walk in the clouds, very high in the sky. Walking and dancing, and maybe jumping from one cloud to another. For this crochet shawl I was completely inspired by the sky full of clouds.
That’s why I called my crochet shawl: walking on clouds.
This crochet shawl is oval-shaped, therefore it fits perfectly around your shoulders and is great to wrap around your body.
In the pattern for this crochet shawl you will find some small stitch patterns, these are amazing eye-catchers, with eyelet rows in between. For the edging I made a pattern that will make you laugh and remind you of funny, little clouds.
Crochet scarf: pattern and chart
The crochet pattern for this scard is fully written, and I’ve included a chart for the edging.
Like all other patterns by Vicarno, my goal is to make my crochet patterns as logical as possible, without too much stitch counting while you are working on your crochet shawl. There is a pattern row repeat, which is relaxing though also a bit challenging at the same time.
Yarn: any sport weight yarn, 4ply yarn or even dk weight yarn will work.
For the pictures you see here, I’ve used:
- Unicat yarn : for the gradient shawl (1 skein of 900 meters)
- Malabrigo lace (2 strands together) for the solid blue one.
Crochet hook : 3,5 mm or 4 mm
Skill level: all levels, also suitable for beginners.
